Inga has been a Bowtech® Bowen therapist since 2005. She is running a full time natural health clinic with a strong focus on Bowen therapy. Inga is also a registered instructor for Bowtech® in New Zealand. She is passionate about creating a strong presence of Bowen therapy in this country.Inga has served on the Executive in a few different roles over the past few years, and is currently the chairperson of the association.
Vice President: June Sobye
I come from a farming background and currently live on a life-style block near Katikati.
In 1996 I studied Bowtech Bowen Therapy and have since been in practise, first in Te Awamutu and now, at home and also at the Waihi Beach Natural Health Shop, on one day per week. I completed my Diploma of Homeopathy in 2000.
It has been a rewarding journey, with the greatest joy being, in seeing people moving easier and suffer less.
Curently I am serving on the Executive Committee as Vice President, enjoying a very enthusiastic and progressive time.
Secretary: Christine Bull
Christine began her Bowen journey in 2000, and has run a Natural Health clinic on the Kapiti Coast since 2008. She has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2011 and currently holds the position of Secretary.
Treasurer: Paul Bull
I have been Treasurer since beginning of 2013, and being the only member not trained (or training) in Bowen, I’ll happily receive treatment when I’m able.My day job is working at EECA as an Account Director.
Michele is a new Professional Bowtech® practitioner, who is very enthusiastic about assisting clients to regain health and wellbeing. As a very experienced Speech Therapist, she is familiar with client communication and is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes. This is her first year on the NZ Executive committee.
Vanessa is a Professional Member of Bowen Therapy New Zealand and a Registered Naturopath joining the Executive Committee in 2020.
She completed her Bowen Therapy training in 2007 and her Naturopathic studies in 2009. The combination of both modalities has contributed to improved health outcomes for her clients.
Having spent over thirty years in the health industry, Vanessa hopes that her involvement in the Executive Committee will help her clients and she looks forward to a closer working relationship with her fellow Bowen Therapy colleagues.
Lynley has been involved with Bowen for 11 years & practicing as anEMRT™ (Equine Muscle Release Therapy) and CCMRT™ (Cat and canine Muscle Release Therapy). She has completed 5 years of teachers training to become an International Instructor for EMRT™ & CCMRT™ and is also a fully qualified Professional Bowtech Therapist for humans. Lynley came to Bowen as a last resort for a severe disabling back injury which other therapies had not helped significantly leaving her facing a 50% chance of being in a wheelchair.
Louise has a background in nursing and is a newly qualified practitioner who is passionate about helping people in her community.
Traci has been a running her Bowen clinic in Levin since 2018. Newly appointed to the Executive Committee she is keen to help promote Bowtech® Bowen therapy more widely in New Zealand.

Kym Ace – Student representative
Kym began her Bowen journey in 2019 and is hoping to gain her practicing certificate in 2020. She loves assisting clients to regain their balance, health and wellbeing. She has joined the Executive Committee in 2020 as the Student Representative. Her day jobs include working at Northland Regional Council as Corporate Systems Champion along with growing her Bowen clinic and assisting where she can in the community.
